The stretch along the ancient trading route, the Via Claudia Augusta, is ideal for road cyclists, mountain bikers and recreational cyclers.

Due to its varied landscape, our holiday region has all sorts of trails for mountain bikers and free-riders. Some of the well-marked trails follow the bottom of the valley, winding through meadows and forests while others reach halfway up into the high mountain pastures.

If you don’t have the possibility to take your own bike with you on your holidays, you should buy a bikemobile Card. With the combined ticket you can use the train in Venosta Valley and all public transport in South Tyrol. Furthermore you can rent a bicycle in one of the participative bike rental stations in South Tyrol.

From April until October the Bike Shuttle Service offers a transport service, bringing bikers from their hotels to selected starting points in Venosta Valley.
